EDC attended the Higher Education Academy conference entitled 'Education for Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship' to gain fresh insight into current thinking on education for sustainable development and explore new network opportunities in the education sector.
The event brought together speakers from throughout the UK to discuss their experiences. While the event highlighted some good progress in certain aspects such as greening the campus, it also clearly demonstrated the need for more practical examples of embedding sustainable development in mainstream courses, such as the work being undertaken by EDC in Wales.
