Inaugural Cardiff University Sustainability Week

16th – 20th November 2009   Cardiff, Wales

The Ecodesign Centre (EDC) team attended a number of the Cardiff University Sustainability Week events in November. These events included:

• an inspiring talk from Jonathon Porritt
• a lively panel debate titled ‘Eating Our Way to Sustainability’ that included Jane Davidson (Minister for the Environment, Sustainability & Housing, Welsh Assembly Government) as a panelist
• a discussion around “What has culture got to do with sustainability? Everything!” which included a thought provoking poetry reading by Robert Minhinnick.
The events were very well attended and there are plans to make this annual.
